Summer Meeting Dates

Team Meeting Dates for the summer:

June 11 & 25

July 9 & 23

August 6

Team meetings/workshops will be held at the Robotics Room from 4 pm to 6 :30 pm .

School Registration days our team members need to make plans to help work registration tables for the robotics team and the Friday before the first day of school team members will need to plan to help work the concessions for the teacher conference. Registration days are usually the last full week in July on Tues, Wed. and Thurs. and the conference is usually the Friday before the first day back to school. As soon as dates are confirmed we will post them.

Scrimmage!!!!

Great day at Aiken County Robotics for a scrimmage!

Awesome Teams, lots of practice and learning the game. Great job to all who helped pull this event together and for all the teams that participated.

Participating FTC Teams: 1102, 3864, 208, 772, 3923, 327, 5551, & 3923B.

Our team and Team 3923B scored the highest score in round 13 with a total of 102 points, with our team #208 score 53 of those points!

Great day today.

The team calendar has been up dated for January to March for all the meetings, workshops, etc. that we are aware of at this point. Please up date your personal calendars and check the site for any changes that may come up.

Kick-off Party Jan. 7th

All team members students, parents, and mentors are encouraged to be at this team meeting. Jan. 7th from 3 pm to 6 pm.

Everyone is asked to bring a finger food or snack item for the party.

We have plates,napkins, plastic ware, and can drinks.

Totia's and salsa, chex mix and creme puffs.

We will watch the FRC kick off video and start the planning of the new bot.

Plus, we will do an inventory of the parts and kit that was picked up in Charleston that morning!

Workshops

Workshops will be held each Saturday starting Jan. 14 th to March 10th at the robotics room unless other-wise set up.

All meetings will begin at 8 am and will end no sooner then 12 noon. Some meeting may run over when needed.

Team attendance will be a huge factor on if a meeting will be canceled. If we do not have enough in attendance students and or mentors meeting will be canceled with no aditional notice.

It is suggested that you bring a drink and a snack if you want one!

Times for Oct. 15 workshop is 12:30 pm to 4 pm.

Please eat luch before coming tot he workshop.

Make sure that Mr. Bull and Mr. Sullivan are in the room before you are dropped off for the day.

There will be an all day volleyball tournament at the gym so there will be plenty of cars around the gym.

Parent Meeting Oct.10 at 6:30 pm

A parent meeting will be held on Oct. 10 at 6:30 at the robotics room.

Each Member must have a parent in attendance!

Info will be given out on the upcoming Comp for Oct. 29th. to include permissions slips.

Things we will need to know:

Who will be going with each team member. (we must have a head count of our team in full for entrance into comp)

We will need a lunch order from all those in attendance with money pre-paid for each meal at this meeting.

We will need to know how many vehicles will be with our team.

Please be prepared to pay meal fees and to give totals per family at this meeting.

Workshop this Saturday

The workshop day for this Saturday will be a drive day for the FRC bots.. IF you want to drive you must be at this workshop.

Bring six dollars for lunch.

Demon Day at LE Changed

Demon Day at LE will be on next Thursday Sept. 29 duringin all lunches. The date was changed due to the weather and the threat of rain this week.

All members will need to plan to help next week all set up and take down plans will stay the same, just on a differnent day.

If you can not help on the 29th contact Mrs. Miles so that someone can replace you at the table.
