About Me

I become involved with the robotic team when my son joined the team. Since then both my children have join the team. Our family has helped for the past few years and this year being my third year with the team, I am one of the mentors and the team coordinator. Here to help all the students and parents to learn and enjoy the program that we are all so glad to be a part of.

About Me

I am a Junior in high school and I have participated in the Robotics program for three years. I first joined the robotics program for the acidemic help it could bring me, but as soon as I went to one of the meetings, I was hooked. I was partially active my Freshman year, I did as many fundraisers as I could but I could hardly go to any of the meetings, and my Sophmore year I was totally active. My Sophmore year I was the driver for our FRC team, and for my Junior year I am the lead driver again. I am also an athlete and a good student. I usually make straight A's with a high B in there every once in a while. I also have played volleyball for my high school. I have played volleyball since I was in 7th grade and I wason the JV Volleyball Team for Lugoff-Elgin High for two years.

About Me

I first went to Robotics for the education and scholarship opportunities, but the first day I joined the team I fell in love with the environment, the people, and the robot, I've been a part of this amazing team ever since. I have found I love building things and I will be a part of the FIRST program for as long as they will let me.

Being on this team has also shown me what I am interested in doing with my life, it has instilled an attraction to engineering in me, and I am pursuing a major in Engineering and Architecture. I am also fascinated with anything to do with Art, especially the more hands-on Arts, in addition I enjoy writing, and hanging out with my best friends, usually playing guitar or doing something crazy and fun.

About Me

I've been working with this program for a long time. It is wonderful to see students with no hands on work experience join the team and become wonderful contributors. Going from never using a screwdriver to using big power tools is real empowering for them. The students make the time and effort worth it!
